Farther away from the Flames you wander a bit aimlessly. Wide open space is before you, dotted here and there with moving forms of various unicorns. It's tiredsome walking for so long, so you decide to take a break and sit down where you are. You must have fallen asleep, for a bright yellow stallion is suddenly nudging your shoulder. Amusement in his eyes as you rapidly blink yours.

"Good nap?" A light tenor voice asks. Nodding, you rub away the last bits of lingering sleep. It's almost painful to look directly at this stallion, with the sun framing him with a blinding golden glow. And his shaggy mane and tail almost appear to be on fire. Slowly you stand up and stand next to him, now facing away from the sun.

He swings his head and looks at you with a piercing green eye. "Well then, I hope you're ready for more visiting now. I'm Jestorie, or if you're into nicknames, then it's Jest. Or Tori. Take your pick." His tone is rather playful, perhaps a nickname of 'Jester' would be more appropriate?

"I was the very first Crystal Unicorn to arrive here." The stallion says proudly. "If you follow that trail there," he motions towards the right, "You'll eventually come across even more Crystals. One of which is my niece. It shouldn't be too hard for you to figure out which is her, since we both share yellow spots."

Before you can thank him though, he's already trotting away. "Mmm.. Forgive Jestorie, he's one to make abrupt entrances and exits." A smooth voice informs you from behind. Turning, you stare unabashed at a gorgeous mare. Bright blue eyes sparkle as she shakes her snowy mane.

"You've already met Jestorie," She nods towards the yellow speck in the distance. "And I am Sourie'Vel, Black Velvet." She smiles and you can only think how appropriate the name is for her.

"I'm 'number two', as it were." Sourie'Vel smirks and winks suggestively. "Jestorie and I make an interesting duo, no? Very contrasting. To say the least." Somehow, you have the feeling that she isn't just referring to their looks. Hmm.. another trail?
