You're walking in front of a door when it suddenly swings open. A nineteen turn old girl with
short brown hair comes out rather quickly, suprising you. As you lose your balance,
she grabs at your arm to keep you from falling. With a strength you wouldn't expect from someone her size,
she hauls you to your feet. "I'm sorry. I guess I should have been paying more attention, but my mind has been between as of late.
Why don't you come in? It'll give you a chance to catch your breath." You follow her inside the weyr and sit
down when she motions you to go towards the cot. "I'm Helia, and you are?" You quickly supply your name.
"Glad to meet you. Perhaps you'd like to meet my lovely Timerth?" A green dragon meets your eye.
"I never exptected to become a dragonrider, but what suprised me the most was that the dragonrider searched me at all.
You look confused. It's suprising it happened you see, because my family by trade are traders.
Rarely in one place long enough to get to know anyone, just long enough to do business." Helia's eyes seem to
twinkle with amusement at this point. "Then one day while we were changing the yokes on the beasts a dragon appeared suddenly
in the skies causing one of our runnerbeasts to bolt. Being the fastest runner there I chased after that critter until I finally
caught him by a clearing. Soon afterwards the dragon landed and his rider got off and apologized.
He told me that lots of eggs had been laid at the weyr and he had been looking for canditates. By the time my parents
finally arrived at the clearing, he had asked if I would go back to the weyr with him. My father was
shocked speechless, and my mother had the most unusual look on her face. Robbie my brother looked mighty
jealous to say the least. After my family got over the shock, they said I could go.
And that's how I arrived here and impressed that glorious creature over there."
